With the GC&nbsp;PASS&nbsp;passivation systems, silver, transparent, blue, yellow or black coloured coatings of zinc or zinc alloys can be obtained according to the desired finish or the required corrosion resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MULTIPASS&nbsp;is a passivation solution which contains chromium (III). It is widely used in modern Cr(VI)-free corrosion protection systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed for rack and barrel goods,&nbsp;MULTIPASS&nbsp;provides relief in warehousing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The relative immunity to contamination by zinc and iron allows a long service life. Simple photometric or titrimetric determination methods ensure high production reliability of the basic solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>GC MULTIPASS Zn<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GC&nbsp;MULTIPASS&nbsp;creates and intensive blue protective layer with good corrosion protection values according to&nbsp;DIN&nbsp;EN&nbsp;ISO&nbsp;9227 on galvanized surfaces deposited by alkaline cyanide-free, alkaline-cyanide or acidic electrolytes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The corrosion resistance is guaranteed even after heat aging (24 hours at 120 \u00b0C).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GC MULTIPASS&nbsp;shows very little colour loss during heat treatment for hydrogen de-embrittlement (T = 200 \u2013 220 \u00b0C; t &gt; 8 hours).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\"><strong>GC MULTIPASS ZnNi<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(Zinc-nickel alkaline, zinc-nickel acidic)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GC&nbsp;MULTIPASS&nbsp;forms black and silver-coloured coatings on zinc-nickel layers deposited by acidic or alkaline electrolytes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a nickel incorporation rate of 12 to 15 %, high corrosion protection is achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\"><strong>GC MULTIPASS ZnD<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GC&nbsp;MULTIPASS&nbsp;primarily acts as a bonding agent for the subsequent paint coating on zinc die-cast parts. First, the cast has any oxide, oxide hydrates and basic carbonates removed from the cast skin. Then, GC&nbsp;MULTIPASSis anchored in the resulting voids. This ensures very high adhesive bonding for almost all dip and wet paints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GC MULTIPASS&nbsp;achieves satisfactory corrosion protection without further post-treatment.
